After the freeze about three weeks ago, (Mid-december) I have noticed there is green/blue powder in the water that comes out my taps that are fed from the cold water storage in the loft, ie bath, sink, shower.
This water tank did freeze over and no water came out those taps for 3 days. The water in the pipes definitely froze as one of the pipes pushed themselves apart at the join. There was cylindrical ice with green/blue material speckled through it.
