BMW Roof BOX Locking Nuts

can anyone help me i have a large Gen BMW Roof Box the roof box fixes to 2 cross rails which in turn fit to the factory roof rails the feet are secured to the rails with locking nuts which have a security socket type tool has any one got the bmw code for the tool . BMW tell me there are 9 different types

That's what makes them 'security bolts'. If any key fitted any bolt, it would just be a bolt. Consider it like a key for a lock.

yea thanks for that i know they are not just any old bolt none of those bits you suggest would go anywhere near fitting what i need. The tool is more like a 10mm socket with one of the socket points being deeper/larger. to make things worse the "bolt" has a sleave around the head so the socket casing has to be fairly thin to fit on the bolt but in the sleave
