I was working on a boat yesterday which has some very dangerous wiring.
I was replacing cables and accessories which had been damaged by an electrical fire caused by a spur, in 1.5mm flex, connected in choc blocks wrapped in masking tape, in a bathroom
Any road, while there I found that the supply cable from an RCD on the bank, was loose 16mm t&e. Only thing it was secured to was a 2m high post.
the problem is that the tide is about 5m where he is moored and the supply cable must be have enough slack.

Any thoughts on what cable to use and how?
I was thinking 6mm armoured, but I'm not sure how many times it would put up with being wobbled about by the tide.
