Can anybody help me please. I have an old Ideal W series RS460 boiler that is not working. I can light the pilot and the boiler sometimes runs for a while, but it would appear that the gas control knob is faulty as it keeps clicking out and shutting off the gas. Is this part still replaceable, if indeed this is the problem. I cannot really afford to have to replace the old girl. I know it is old but would rather stick with it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, even if it is the proper name for the part I need.
