Boiler isnt firing up

Hi guys, a bit of advice or comments needed please? In the last couple of days my boiler is playing up, fires up one day and doesnt the next. last year we changed quite a few bits on it, PCB, gas valve, pump, you name it.. it was working great for about 8 months and now plays up like it has a mind of its own. we have an engineer coming out today but i would just like to know whether anyone experienced anything similar?

the boiler is an old baxi condensed boiler, not sure how old exactly tbh.

thanks in advance for any comments, and will definitely post on here once engineer has been and diagnosed.

Unless you give the model of your old Baxi boiler we don't have any chance of helping you! No crystal balls available anywhere!

Thank you for your reply, i have not looked at the model, and I am at work now, but will definitely inform in the evening.
But gasman has been and gone and he said the boiler is leaking and advised to replace the whole thing as parts would be expensive.
all details when I get home, coz i really would need some sound advice then
