My Potterton Prima boiler is not igniting. It has been having trouble igniting for the past month or so, only igniting on the 3rd or 4th attempt. Now it seems to have totally given up. The pumps appears to be working though it is making a strange ticking noise. I've read previous postings about pcbs. Could it be this or is it the pump not working properly? There is no sound at all coming from the boiler when pump starts, ie no fan, no ignition click.
Thanks

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I now have a Prima 50F doing exactly the same thing.

One interesting thing I've found is that Potterton's site doesn't even acknowledge the existence of the Prima Fs. Of the models the site does mention, the Prima Cs and Suprimas look very different but the Profiles look just like my boiler. So I'm not even sure this boiler is a Prima 50F!!

From other posts, I'd take a guess you had to replace the PCB. I'd be interested to know.
