I added a couple of rads to our heating system in jan,ran 15mm off 22mm flow and returns to feed 2 small rads one in wc and one in bathroom.

There has been a bit more system noise than before since they were added.Over the last couple of weeks the boiler has on occassion been giving out a little boom.

On sat I noticed the pressure was up to 3.5 bar normal cold pressure is 1-1.5

I bled all the rads and set the cold pressure to 1bar,fired up the heating and after about 20mins the pressure was up to just over 2 and the left side of the casing on the boiler was very hot.

Have turned the c/h off

Any ideas what it might be,could it be to do with me adding the rads?
They both have trvs on.

The boiler is an ideal isar m30100

TIA

Hi doubt it's the rads that have been fitted, sound like the expassion vessel in the boiler need recharge/replace and the boom isn't good, recommend a rgi takes a look before you hurt your self.
