Can anyone help?

i'm having problems with my 10 year old combi boiler, the hot water keeps running hot and then cold never consistent and is getting worse.

Is it a simple job to get repaired and not cost me a fortune or is it somethng thats costly and due to the age of the boiler it may be worth getting a new one?

Impossible to tell you anything regarding price or what the problem is. Suggets you either post ALOT more detail or ring round a few local corgi's

Most will charge just a diagnoses fee to start with then you can make the decision to repair or replace.

Its a Ocean Alpha Combi problem
I thought it may have been a thermostat type problem

Sounds like possibly a blocked plate heat exchanger.

We charge £84 to diagnose the problem.

Its probably a blocked plate heat exchanger for which we charge an additional £52 to clean or exchange.
