Hi everyone, I hope someone will be able to help. We have got a BIASI Riva Compact HE Boiler. Model M96.24SM/C and M98.24SR/C. The boiler has shut down and we can't get hot water or central heating.

The hot water and central heating has been working fine for months until now. We purchased the property about 4 months ago and the old owners mentioned something about being careful when bleeding the radiators affecting the pressure.

I bled our heated towel rail which never seemed to get hot and air came out for about 1 minute then stopped. I went to check the boiler and a red light was flashing and the pressure is down to 0. (Please see the attached pictures on my profile) there is also 3 LED's on the left side the furthest left flashed green and the middle one is red, I have not seen a red LED on on the boiler before.

There is a red button in the middle of the front panel which seems to be a reset button, I dont know if this will remedy the problem though.

I am almost certain that more pressure needs to be added to the system although I don't want to do this without someone else recommending I do it. Please help.

thanks. George

Open the two taps either end of the silver braided hose and recharge your system to approx 1 bar then turn off both taps, then reset the boiler and put into operation.Everytime you bleed rads you need to do this.

No one should bleed radiators unless you know how to repressurise the boiler!

The pressure needs to be set to about 1.5 Bar cold.

Those boiler models are not from your boiler. Yours may be the first one you listed but the correct one is on a sticker on the front flap.
