Boiler trouble

Good morning

So i've just tried to take a shower and the boiler won't come on. Was fine yesterday but nothing today (no HW or CH). The pressure is about .75 bar, slightly in the red, but has always read that (could that be the prob?).

It's a Chaffoteaux & Maury MX2 24 - 30ff. According to the fault code the problem is that the extractor is on and the pressure regulator is at rest.

Is this going to be expensive?

I take it you mean you can hear the fan going but the boiler is not firing?

In this case it could be the fan venturi, blocked tubes, air pressure switch, or even slight possibility of the pcb not recognising the APS telling it the fan is running.

All RGI territory I'm afraid, not DIY.
