Having decided to get rid of our powermax boiler and get something hopefully better i am waiting for the quotes to arrive, just a combi and fitting any chance 1500 to 2000 would be enough. i know i should wait for the quotes but a m to impatient/nosey lol

Depends what is being quoted for and what other work needs doing to comply with regs.

You may be lucky and find someone to do it for about £2000.

Where are you in Norwich to have an original powermax fitted?

We are in Attleborough and i have spent a fortune over 3years on the boiler so its departing to boiler heaven!!!!!!!!!!!

problem with alot of powermaxs is they are often in the centre of the property. last one i took out needed a vertical flue and a condense pump to get over fitting problems. That all adds to the cost.

I know eight houses on our estate have had to have new boilers in the last two months!
