Hi,
Given that I’m not that fast with my plastering skills yet, I was planning to use blue grit/bondit over an old skimmed wall I’d patch plastered with bonding plaster. Level out with bonding plaster and then use blue grit/bond it again, ready for the skim.
If I could finish the bonding coat and the skim in one day, I’d not use the second application of bonding. However, is using blue grit/bond it OK twice like this instead of PVA? It seems logical, but I have t seen any reference to it anywhere, and would make the whole process far more manageable in terms of my work rate.
With thanks for advice on this one
