Bosch Classixx 6 1200 express Washing Machine

A friend of mine has one of the above, but when she goes to start the machine she gets a 'key' icon show up on the LED display and she cannot Start the machine.

Can anyone advise me what the problem is and how you overcome it!?

Child lock has been activated. The user manual describes how you disable it. If you don't have a manual try pressing & holding the start button for min 5 seconds.
