Bosch Dishwasher not draining

Hi everyone,
I have a Bosch Dishwasher Model No. SL15K1B that will not drain. the machine went through a wash cycle but did not empty. removed all the plates etc. and drained the machine with a syphon tube, set it to a rinse cycle, it filled, it whoooooshed around a rinse, but again failed to empty.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this problem, I'm quite adept to mechanical things, but this ones got me.

Blocked or failed drain pump, blocked waste hose or spigot.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. After posting the problem i took the bull by the horns and stripped off the bottom panel. removed drain pump and found shard of glass. Put it all back together again and hey presto it works fine!!!
