Bosch Logixx dishwasher not working - HELP!

Hi

Dishwasher has worked great for 2 years.

Today it will not start - the door will not close.
The LED is flashing NOT STARTED.

I have misplaced the manual - is there a way to reset the brain?

If not, any idea to what might be wrong with it. I have pulled out the plug, and turned the on/off switch - but still no joy.

If the door won't close that's your problem! There is an interlock in the door lock that means the programme wont start until the door is shut - spray arms, hot water and open doors make a hell of a mess!

To check, open door, look in the lock slot on door and see if the catch is open or shut. If it's open, get a small screwdriver and press on the latch to shut it - should be a definite click. Then close door up as much as poss and try starting a programme. If that works, your door may need adjusting to enable the catch to work properly.

Reset is, from memory, first programme button and fourth button pressed together. Something like that any way!

Thanks Towman - tried that. lock would not budge.
So I stripped the panel down, removed the door lock.

The nylon catch had overshot the spring loaded mechanisam.

Pushed in back into place.

All is working fine now.
