Bosch WFF2000 Washing Machine Switch

How do you disconnect the Door release from the main ON/OFF switch? The latching switch appears to have gone and the machine will no longer stay switched in the ON position? Is this just a faulty switch or is there something else causing the switch not to latch?

The machine is about 8 + years old but has an easy life as the kids have all left home. A new switch costs just £29 opposed to a callout fee of £££££££££ + £29 + ££££££

If the on/off switch is not operating correctly you will need a new switch,don,t disconnect the door switch as the appliance won,t work.

Thanks for the reply but how do you release the door open cord from the Switch?

to release the door cord it is like a bike cable fitting so release the switch from the facia and then it should be made easier
