BOSCH WFK 2401 Error 01 (cold-wash only)

I have the Bosch WFK 2401 Clothes Washer and I now get a 01 error a few minutes after starting a cold wash. (The warm and the hot wash still work fine.)

The manual says to a) ensure the tap has been turned on and b) clean the filters of the water inlet.

We have checked both, but the error persists. We are also using the high efficiency washing powder, as recommended by Bosch.

Any ideas?
