Bosh Heat Exchanger Dishwasher SRV43M03GB/28

Hi, I've managed to damage what I think is the cover (£10 - 26 7631) that is part of the heat exchanger unit (£100 - 21 6542).

Bosch spares list it as a seperate part but it is also supplied attached when you purchase the heat exchanger unit. While it may be available seperately, I'm not sure how you'd attach it to the heat exchange unit.

If the cover is damaged, do I need to replace the whole heat exchange as it's not possible to attach a new cover? Anyone have any experience with this?

Sorry only ever replaced or cleaned these out, btw your number is wrong its 216452.

How have you damaged it, hole, leaking ?

Stupidly managed to lean on it splitting the cover so it has a hole in it. Looks like it might be an expensive mistake!
