Would an SDS box sinker work well on brick?
I have an old house with solid brick inner leaf and need to add several wall sockets. Knocking out a recess for a back box takes ages and I don't mind spending a few quid with Screwfix to save time and effort.

I have an of Armeg and it works on almpost anything apart from reinforced concrete or Accrington brick. Doesn't half speed up the job, especially if you have a wall chaser as well.

the circular cutter works in pretty much anything. the square cutter tho isnt too good in hard brick, but OK in most brick.

Thanks for the replies, the mortar is soft and the bricks are pretty hard...

I'm thinking it may be easier just to remove a brick for each socket location, knock the face off and cement back in.
