Just refitting my bathroom and want to tile where the bath panel would normally be fitted.
What is the minimum thickness of ply to use as it's a tight squeeze especially when using 7mm tiles.
I will also be boxing in wastes pipes, soil pipe etc. to be tiled over - minimum thickness of ply?

Ta in advance

For the bath panel, it depends how well supported it is. If there is plently of framework behind it to screw the ply to then you'll be fine with 9mm. If not then I'd think about using 12mm.
For the waste pipes - depends how big of a piece of ply you'll need. If it's only going to small pieces then 6mm might do (9mm to be sure). Personally I'd use plasterboard though (assuming the area isn't going to get very wet) cause it's easier, cheaper and faster.
