Boxing In

Hi

I am renovating my garage into a utility room with toilet. There's quite a few unsightly pipes and I want to box them. It seems boxing with ply and timber battens is popular.

I was thinking about timber frame with plasterboard and skim. Is there a problem with this??

Any advice greatly appreciated.

No plaster board is fine. You may want to go double skin. I'm assuming you are aware of the building control requirements?
