Bramham shower lever stiff to move

Hello Everyone

I would appreciate any information on how to free up the lever on our Bramham shower (see pic herewith).
I can use it but my wife finds it too difficult to turn.

This looks pretty complicated, is there any way to avoid a complete strip down?

if you look at the site i gave you properly it will tell you somewhere , you can even send them message and they are pretty quick with suggested parts needed

when taking apart some shower bodies you've got to watch the spring doesn't fly out
