Un report for 2018 Investments France £29 billion
Germany £20 billion

Britain £50 billion ......

Value of foreign investments stocks Britain £1.4 Trillion
France £649 billion
Germany £730 billion

Brexit or not Britain is seen as a magnet for investors

British steel and Ford ?

Germanys car industry is suffering too due to uncertainty with electric cars as is EU steel manufacturing because of Chinese imports. It's not just Britain that's got problems.

But good old Blighty is still attractive to investors despite Brexit !

No my dear that is uncertainty any financial indecision creates uncertainty in the markets no matter what. But you carry giving it the look what dem no idea Brexiters are doing now  if it suits your narrative of course.

And this uncertainty is by the remain camp trying to delay the inevitable desperate for anything to happen. I hear the next remain plan is to arm Bercow(your only hope) with a milkshake cannon. yeah that will stop em

Do you reckon we'll be out by the end of October?

Do you think the remainers (oops sorry they're quitters) Ree Somgg and his merry band will vote against May's negotiated deal...again?

Do you think there will be any renegotiation of Mays' deal?

Do you think the government will have all ANY answers to the NI border problem?

There is no certainty surrounding Brexit and that is not solely the fault of remainers.

I disagree..

Quitters like to blame everyone else/everything else for their stupidity - it is their modus operandi !

They also love to tell us that they knew exactly what they were voting for.

Remainers wanted the status quo and certainty!

Brexit by definition is uncertainty, thus quitters are solely to blame for the mess we are in.

If by foreign investment you mean Russian and Chinese billionaires buying up London property, then yes, we are doing really well!
Just don't try to buy a house in London.

And a lot of 'foreign investment' is also because UK companies are being bought up on the cheap due to the pound having crashed after the referendum!

Oops...

Brexit worries will see business investment contract faster this year and recover more slowly next year than was previously thought, a report says.

"Businesses are putting resources into contingency plans, such as stockpiling, rather than investing in ventures that would positively contribute to long-term economic growth...
in a way that is "not sustainable"

UK economic growth to slow to zero as Brexit stockpiling effect ends and businesses slash investment

Brexit - the gift that keeps on giving!

Gas you want to link to that report, I hope its not a summary of a summary.

It may well be that gasbag has been quoting the Daily Express again ;)

But even that cheerleader for Brexit had to admit that:

"It is not all positive. New investment in the UK fell by 37 percent last year"

I wonder if Fest has the gumption to answer these questions. I don't think he likes them very much.

Fest didn't stand up when I asked:

If Buffoon gets to be PM, does anyone still believe we will definitely leave, deal or no deal, on 31 October?

If someone else gets the job, does anyone still believe we will definitely leave, deal or no deal, on 31 October?
