brightening up a door

Hi

Can you give me a good plan of attack to treat the internal doors of my house

They were already here when we moved in a year or so ago (which was nice!)

they appear to be pine doors with a yellow/ornage varnish appearance.

just wondered whether we should maybe sand them down a bit and put on some new varnish

never varnished doors before so any help is welcome

You can do that if you like...wont do any harm..just give them a light sanding first.
