Hi there

Could anyone help I have a 8+ Britony IIT Water Heater and the Hot Water flow is really poor as my GF found out last night when it took about an hour to run a bath ( my fault according to her ). I have checked the service valves are fully opened is there anything else I can do?

Thanks

Is there a knob under the gas control one, which may not turn?
Hard water area?

The water flow knob on the boiler is set to maximum, I do live in a hard water area the hot water is also coming out slightly cloudy would this have something to do with it?

You need to measure the flow rate.

I think its about 20 kW so you should expect about 7 li/min of quite hot water.

With this type of heater if the flow rate is too slow then it gets hotter!

If the flow rate has been set to very hot(over about 63) for a long time it will have scaled up in the heat exchanger. It should be possible to clean it - do a search on "descale".
