Tritton biarritz 8.5kw shower, just recently it has developed the problem where if you switch it off on the shower, it will switch off the heater, but not the water, so when it is off, its acting as if its on cold, the switch does not seem to feel any less 'positive' than before, and switching it back and forwards does not make the problem intermittant. The only way to switch off the water flow is with the pullcord show isolator.
Any ideas?, is there some kind of water temp sensor in there which detects whether it needs to flush hot water out the system? before it broke it used to run for about 1 second after switching it off, but I am not sure whether that is the feature or whether it just takes that long for the watre to finish falling out the shower head, becuase i've seen showers which ran cold for about 5-6 seconds after switching off
