I Just finished repainting my bathroom walls and there are tiny bubbles all over the place. These bubbles did not appear during the prime coat or the first coat. On the second coat they came in hoards?? I've sanded them down, mudded, primed and painted with no joy. The more I try to fix it the more bubbles. Anybody got any ideas other than the obvious..demo????

Did you use kitchen and bathroom paint?

1 coat primer
2 coats dulux kitchen and bathroom paint
bubbles after the 2nd coat
sanded down and reapplied 3rd coat, same results as second but worse??

Its the kitchen and bathroom paint thats let you down....not compatable with te primer.

The stuff is rubbish...is it possible to scrape it all off?

Kitchen and bathroom paint really is hard work...see other threads about it on here, it has caused people loads of grief

Thanks for the quick reply Zampa,
I had a look at the threads like you suggested and see what you mean about Kitchen and Bathroom paint. Although I've never had a problem with it before, I'm pretty sure I won't use it again. Anyway does this sound right? Scrape and sand it down, cover the blisters with mud and go at her again? I was reading about some products that may stop the bubbles from reoccuring. What can you suggest?

Difficult one mate...we probably have different products here

Do you have Zinseer bullseye?..thats a good primer sealer.

I believe we do. If I remember right I've used that at work as a stain blocker?
