I've recently come across the concept of Tumbleweed/tiny houses, where the aim is to reduce energy consumption and your carbon footprint to the absolute minimum required for comfort.
This has got me idly speculating and wondering if there is anything in the design of say, this type of house which would conflict with UK building regs and be an absolute showstopper (assuming it's made into a static permanent dwelling)?
The UK designer of this example suggests it is classed as a mobile home/static caravan and therefore does no need to comply with the regs.
(Obviously if I was looking seriously into this I would get an architect to design something properly, this is just a sort of 'can something this small actually be done in the UK?' question).
