Building regs

Hey does any one know a free website or something where i can look at the building regs as i have done some building work on my house and not let the council know "Didnt kno u had 2"

Thanks i have got quite far into knocking a wall down and i find out i need to notify them ive had to stop all work and my front room looks a mess so thanks mate
