The concrete floors in my 1964 bungalow are far from flat, but (except in one place) have no cracks. There is also a considerable difference in the sound that they make when struck. In some places they make a hollow sound which is a bit worrying.

My current thinking is "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but in one room there is a bump which is at least 10mm above the rest of the floor. This is visible, will affect the furniture and I would like to fix it.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

Just get a kango and break it off then liquid latex over it again.
Or latex the whole floor if it can take a 10mm raise.

Sorry for delay in responding.

I think that the floor is screeded. The slabs, those are the concrete slabs laid in between concrete beams on the ground floor.
