Buzzed off!

I have two 12V halogen ceiling light fittings in my kitchen. One of the fittings (which has three bulbs) started to buzz, dim and has finally gone out completely. The other fitting (on the same switch) is still on and seemingly fine. Is it safe to keep using it.......could it be a problem with the transformer (It's integrated into the unit)?

sounds like Tx has give up. replace. other will be OK on its own powering 1 light
