Buzzing dimmer switch

Hi all,

one of the dimmer switches in our house buzzes when it's on, is this ok or does it need replacing? and why does it buzz ?

have you changed anything recently or has it always done this?

No nothing changed recently. Been doing it for a while.

Might just replace it then.

Sometimes even the expensive ones buzz, especially when dimmed low.

So don't be surprised if you change them all, to no avail!!
