I have a potterton promax 28 he and i want to add two zone valves next to the boiler to zone the upstairs and down, i know the boiler has an internal bypass but would i need to add another before the two ports or would the internal one be enough ?

If the zone valves are right next to the boiler there is little point putting a further bypass between the boiler & valves.
