Hi my wife has a flat and the phone was broken off the wall, I wanted to replace the handset
Just wondering if anybody with a bit of experience knew the Elvox model as cannot seem to find it anywhere or would know what compatible phone I could install?
or even what all the wires are? trying to work it out?
The wires are still pretty intact in the terminals
some have broken off, i can only assume the phone worked before and wires were in correct terminals

1 - is Blue
2 - is White and Blue (which was linked to privacy button)
3 - is orange
Green broken off but seems to be the power supply so +24v/12v
White and green was +24v/12v to the Light (lightbulb on front panel)
White and brown, Brown, white and orange all into the +24/12v door lock (key on front panel)

does this make sense to anybody? or do they know what phone i could buy and what wires i would have to install for it to correctly work?

appreciate any help that could be given

Kind Regards David

What does the outside panel look like ....? Raytel use elvox handsets , so may be a raytel system ...

Thanks for your response, I have a picture of the handset, it does say Raytel inside of it, and there is the front panel of the flat also

hi I posted some further pictures, I couldn’t find the Raytel Model that was on the inside of the handset, then I saw the elvox on pcb and started looking into that

Just found this information from a raytel sheet problem is cannot see connection 7 and red led/green led

assuming 7 is door lock which is the 3 wires into that
green wire goes into red led
white and green wire goes into green led

There are normally 5 wires or 6 if has door open led ...one of which is normally a + for the privacy led ...
Try the green in this terminal ....see if the privacy led lights when pressedDA2981A5-89A5-4354-AC63-D6AD292A3303.jpeg

Hi yes the light is on when the green wire is into that terminal, it did come out of that terminal so i know that green wire into there is correct

Im currently not at the flat, but im pretty sure it was constantly on, not that this means too much as the phone was pretty much yanked off the wall it probably doesnt operate as should (the privacy button that is)

It’s looks like they are all back in now ....I assume only the green was out ?

yes thats correct, I know where they all go, its just the phone is damaged beyond repair, i just wondered if anybody knew the correct replacement model, and as there isnt any labeling on most of the wires wondered if anybody had an idea on what would go where in the replacement model, thanks again for any help you can provide

so im assuming if the replacement model hasnt got a door led or privacy function/led then 2 further wires would be made redundant? therefore would just need to know the positioning of the remaining wires

Definitely buy a raytel handset as the system may be modified , I’ve got a couple of raytel systems but they are digital dial systems with landing decoders so I normally use a 6200 handset
