Does anyone have a name is tiny circular part of a door handle assembly? It seems as if it’s designed to attach the door handle to the door handle rose. If anyone can identify it do they also know whether a specific tool is required to fit it? I’ve tried to do it with a little pair of pliers, but it’s been tricky. Any tricks of the trade?

It is called a Circlip (circular clip) and readily available and you fit them with these.....
Good idea is to wear goggles and take it slowly because if it flies off you could spend the evening looking for it.
