I need to buid a wall 5m long bu std 6ft high as a decorative feature in my garden (when opened, an automated sliding gate will slide behind it and the existing fence). I want to have a water feature (just a comtemporary spout) coming out of it and it'll also be plastered. Rather than dig deep (as I know there are water & soil pipes and elec cable below where it'll be, can I use breese blocks or, indeed, any lightweight brick to avoid having to dig deep founds?

Any help much appreciated.

the foundations are not just for weight but for movement.

you will still need the 1 metre foundation.
