Can I paint chipboard subfloor

So we have a front room that we have ripped old carpet off and below is the chipboard subfloor, eventually we will spent some money but in meantime can we paint the chipboard floor with say this paint...

BEDEC ACRYLIC FLOOR PAINT​

It can look nice and just want to check I wont damage the boards or rot them....

Might stain through? Might need a stain blocking primer.But yes you can paint

agh thanks so all good to paint over as an interim, will seal first, whats best Latex or Acrylic, less smell the better.

Use ronseal floor varnish + stain.
It comes in different colours.

Yes.
I used this on the mezzanine floor in my workshop and it worked perfectly.
