Hi all,
In a bid to heat my home office chair, I've bought a 12v heated car seat cover, assuming I could just plug it into a cigarette lighter adapter from ebay.
Item in question:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/12V-Heated-...=1385421518&sr=8-1&keywords=electric+car+seat
However, I don't know how much power the seat will draw, and if regular cheap ebay 240v to 12v cigarette converter will be powerful enough to run it. Any ideas?
For example, here's an adapter:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAINS-TO-...ories_MobilePhoneChargers&hash=item3a6a549f81
The cheapest adapter on Ebay for example states it can only output at up to a max of 450mA. Would I be better off buying a generic 12V power adapter and connecting it to the seat?
Many thanks!
