I am a bit of a newbie but have tiled walls before. now we have bought some biggish slate tiles for the kitchen floor adn we got some flexible ceramic tile adhesive to stick them down with. HOWEVER, i then read all this thing abotu mixing cup mortar and all that lark. I would really like to not do that, but obviously if it is the only way I will. Can anyone tell me if using flexible ceramic tile adhesive woudl be okay? i am hoping to do this tomorrow.

Cheers

I've always used flexible floor tile adhesive with slate, i.e. just ordinary floor stuff, but if you're at all unsure then I recommend that you ask at the place you bought the tiles and take their advice. Then, if the tiles don't stick you can hold them responsible!

did as you said and they said it was fine!!! so floor is down and looks fab (besides all that having no grout thing). thanks for your help
