Hi there

I'm building a shed/workshop with a gently sloping living roof. I'm imagining the roof build up to be:
- rafters
- 18mm OSB
- 50mm expanded polystyrene
- EDPM liner
etc..

I know there's a water-based adhesive for EDPM so does anyone know if it'll cause any problems for the EPS? Will it stick?

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Cheers

I've just spoken to a supplier on this and they say the water-based adhesive needs to go onto a porous surface. AFAIK solvent based adhesives would do nasty things to EPS. So the answer is no?

Any advance on no?

50mm eps will not do much anyway, you could go for 90mm plywood backed celotex. Though the sheets are about £50 each I suspect so maybe overkill for a shed.

Or just screw down a suitable roof deck board through the insulation.
