can you recommend a bath?

Need a new bath. Can anyone recommend one and where from - just want a simple one at that's not expensive (n.b. it needs to hold a 17 stone bloke)

kaldewei baths seem to have a pretty good reputation, widely available.

Armitage Shanks (used?) to do a 10mm plastic bath which was one of the best baths I've ever fitted and that was fitted for a 'hefty bloke' anaw.

Think the cost of them about five year ago was about the £500 mark.

pts do good value cheap steel baths for less than £100 pound,and if used with a shower over are sturdier than plastic ones
