Candy CDW 250 Dishwasher

My Candy CDW 250 is not filling with water, it goes through the programme cycle on the dial & even the element heats up but no water is entering the appliance, obviously I've checked the water is on etc & checked the hose for any kinks,
Is this a pump fault?
