Candy Washing Machine Stops after 5 seconds

Our Candy ce450 washing machine stops after 5 - 10 seconds of starting up. Does not matter what program I set it on, wash or spin -
it just starts and then stops. We have changed the timer but still the same-Any help would be much appreciated.
