Hi can someone please help me.I have the carbon film mat underfloor heating system fitted in my living room with a contactor fitted due to the size of the room being large. The problem I am having is that the timer clock keeps turning off every couple of days and just flashes until i set it again. This means I cannot use the timer and the heating is on constantly. Could someone please avise me as to what the problem may be.Thankyou

One thing I could think of. Is the thermostat designed to switch a contactor?

If the thermostat / timer is one with a 230v output, it could rely on a trickle through a resistive load (heating element) to keep it powered.

Model : TH132-A
• Supply : 230 VAC, 50 Hz
• Load : 16 A max. (resistive only)
• Power : 3680 W (NI) @ 230 VAC

Resistive only. A contactor is not resistive.
