CARNDEAN FLOOR QUESTION

Hi I think I may have to remove a passageways worth of carndean flooring about 4 meters by 1 meter .....

Wot is carndean flooring
Wots it held down by ??
Is it like lino ??
Will it come up off concrete easy ???
Can you tile over it with floor tiles (save me taking it up in the first place )????

Karndean is mostly vinyl sheet or tile. generally glued down, heavy duty flooring scraper to hack it up.

It's Karndean by the way and loads of usefull info at www.karndean.co.uk.

It's often held down with pressure sensitive adhesive but there are other adhesives.
No, you can't just tyle over it, you need to remove it. Can be removed quite easily but you're then left with the adhesive residue.
