Carpet Underlay- Cloud 9

We are getting a new carpet soon in the lounge as is this is a flat and I wanted to reduce airborne noise between the two flats I was going to get Cloud 9 Cumulus 11mm to replace the existing underlay.
Will this underlay help with airborne noise or is it mainly for impact noise which isn't really a problem.

ye it will do but not a great amount.

Thought I would update this I got Tredaire dreamwalk underlay as it offers a very slight improvement in sound reduction over the cloud9. Excellent underlay feels amazing to walk on and makes the hall carpet feel like walking on stone in comparion so can highly recommend.
