Sorry for asking if this has already been asked but couldnt see it anywhere.

What type of underlay is best used with a concrete floor?

will be fitted in the lounge and bedrooms

Should I be looking at waffle? felt? rubber crumb? specific brand?

thx

cloud 9 is a carpet underlay. To british standard your subfloor ( solid ) should have a moister content of less than 75% rh. If not then a surface dpm needs to be applied. Nothing else should be under the underlay or the carpet and underlay.
Now dont worry about moister reading less than 75%. Carpet and underlay will be o.k with more than this. Its not correct to the book but i didn't tell you its o.k!
So end of the day just buy cloud 9 underlay and a carpet, job done.
