Planning on installing a Fired Earth roll top cast iron bath on limestone tiles. The bath has cast iron claw feet. My question is if there is any likelihood of the feet cracking the limestone tiles when filled with water/occupant. I will be making sure the tile is properly backed with adhesive with no voids etc. Thanks

Now there's a questions ;).

I was looking round the "Hampstead" project yesterday and the ground floor main bathroom has just this.

They are fine.

I think you'd need to be very confident about the quality of limestone tiles with a CI bath sitting on them. Point is that the metal feet can create 'point loads' with a very small area of contact between the foot and relatively-soft / brittle tile.

If the 'pad' on the bottom of each 'claw' is flat and reasonably
large, probably OK. If actually spherical - not a good idea.
