You might want to eat some of that tasty humble pie when you delve in to those numbers. When you adjust the two nations to a comparable level using Purchasing power parity. Catalonia outperforms Scotland by a margin. Scotland’s GDP also includes UK oil and gas revenue which isn’t a given post independence. That’s without looking at the sources of revenue and the fact that Scotland gets a massive tax subsidy from the UK. You say business is exiting Catalonia which is true, let’s see what happens to Scotland’s services business if ever business thought they were serious. That’s without even considering a new currency.
