Watched " grand designs" on a CH4 repeat, the other night where a couple of Pilots were building a new art deco house. The board insulation at the corners in the cavities were clearly NOT special sections and not even done well. 90% insulation coverage is better then 50 %, the problem is that when its 10 years old, it might only be 60% with cold spots which you can't fix causing dark areas on the walls. Which at installation time could have cost a few £100 to do properly.
